What does wellness and being healthy mean to you?

To me, being well and happy means being happy with your personal physical and mental well-being. I believe it is about having a good work-life balance, eating well, exercising, and having solid trusting relationships.

How did you get into BarreAmped and what are your future plans for barre?

I got into BarreAmped simply by chance - I had passed by the studio several times but finally plucked up the courage one day to ask the owner if they were looking for instructors. I then trained as a client and fell in love with one of BarreAmped’s primary focus: form and alignment.

In terms of the future, I hope to bring the goodness of BarreAmped to other like-minded people.

What is your favorite way (aside from barre) to keep fit and find some downtime?

I attend yoga classes at some of my favourite studios at least 3 times a week, where I focus on breathing and connecting to my body. Time for myself is the best time I could ever ask for.

List your 3 dinner party dream guests, what would you talk about and what dish would you prepare for them?

I can’t think of three! The first, though, would be the younger version of myself. I would have told her to go ahead and pursue her dreams of dancing. I would prepare my signature chocolate mousse with blackberry jelly in the center, covered with chocolate ganache.

List your 3 favorite travel destinations, and list 3 more that you want to travel to and why.

My favorite travel destinations would be the Maldives, Barcelona, and Bangkok - I love everything about those locations!

I would love to travel to New York (my friends and I have been talking about taking time off work.. And the thought of spending time in a city doing nothing but dance sounds amazing! I miss doing that!), Bora-Bora (this has been on my bucket list since I visited the Maldives. I miss the feeling of doing nothing but sitting at the beach, practicing sun-rise/sun-set oga, and reading a good book!), and Japan (I’ve never been there but I can imagine myself eating all those yummy japanese cakes *yums*)
